Have you seen the movie "Hannibal"? The scene at the end where Dr. Lector has cut the top of Ray Liotta's head off and he is slicing pieces of hs brain off & frying them up? Ray Liotta starts to become non-sensical and confused & starts to drool on himself and becomes incoherent.
That is how I felt after my first 18XX game today. A 7 hour game with explanation.
What is 18XX?

"18XX is the generic term for a series of board games that, with a few exceptions, recreate the building of railroad corporations during the 19th century; individual games within the series use particular years in the 19th century as their title (usually the date of the start of railway development in the area of the world they cover), or "18" plus a two-letter geographical designator (such as 18EU for a game set in the European Union)."
We played 1856 specifically. My head hurtz. I was the total FNG today. Got totally curb stomped. I don't even know how to describe this game. I will revisit this after the shit settles in my head.
